Spacelab Architecture designed this modern two bedroom apartment in Athens, Greece. This apartment is situated on the 6th floor of a building on the waterfront of Athens. The initially fragmented plan of this apartment was opened up by tearing down the kitchen walls and creating an open space. A couple of key elements dominate the space – the open kitchen with the custom-made yellow corian hood and the fireplace with the built-in flat screen TV behind the mirrored screen. The wooden surfaces used were made from old sewn looking veneer oak and stained dark. Dark grey colors are complemented by vibrant blue, yellow and green hues.
